The Curriculum
The foundation of our academic model is the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) program. Through mastery-based, individualized PACEs, students progress at their own pace, ensuring deep understanding before moving forward. This approach allows us to meet each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning styles, while integrating biblical principles throughout every subject.

Academic Programs by Grade Level
Kindergarten
- Early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and Biblical foundations through interactive, joyful activities.
- Enrichment in art and free play.
- ABC's with Ace and Christi.
- Cognitive, social, and behavioral skills development.
Elementary (Grades 1–6)
- Core subjects: Reading, Mathematics, English, Word Building, Science, Social Studies, and Spanish.
- Bilingual instruction and enrichment in art, bible, and physical education.
Secondary (Grades 7–12)
- Advanced Mathematics, Science, English, Word Building and Literature, Social Studies, Spanish, and electives (to whom it applies).
- Guidance for standardized tests, university readiness, and personal development.
- Focus on critical thinking, leadership, and spiritual maturity.

Advanced Mathematics: Preparing for College & Life
At San German Christian Academy, mathematics is more than a subject—it’s a cornerstone of our academics and a gateway to limitless opportunities. We believe every student has the potential to excel in mathematics, and we are dedicated to cultivating confident problem-solvers, logical thinkers, and future innovators. With expert instruction, our students are empowered to master complex concepts, develop analytical reasoning, and prepare for higher-level study and career pathways.
- Elementary Mathematics: Building a solid foundation in numeracy, problem-solving, and mathematical thinking.
- Middle Grades: Expanding to pre-algebra and essential skills for higher math.
- High School Mathematics: Rigorous coursework in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and/or Calculus—tailored to each student’s goals, preparing them for Higher Education, STEM careers or overall math proficiency.
Language Arts & Word Building
- English Mastery: From foundational literacy to advanced reading comprehension, literature analysis, grammar, and writing skills.
- Word Building: Vocabulary, spelling, and communication skills to ensure students become articulate communicators.
Science & Social Studies
- Science: Study in biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, and health, fostering scientific learning and God’s creation.

Spanish
Our bilingual program immerses students in Spanish language, literature, and cultural appreciation, equipping them for success in Puerto Rico, the U.S., and beyond.
